Why people look for a BotMother alternative

Three reasons come up again and again:

• The free plan is for testing, not launching. BotMother assigns a free Test plan at signup, but a test bot only answers up to five people you mark as testers. Everyone else gets no reply. So you cannot put a free BotMother bot in front of real users. Their docs also say that a free account left inactive for four months is permanently deleted together with its bots, and they advise logging in at least once a month.
• The entry price. As of September 2026, botmother.com lists the Start plan at $49 per month for one live bot, with an intro offer listed at $22 per month for the first two months. Five live bots on the Advanced plan cost $159 per month. Annual plans are ten times the monthly price. For a solo creator or a small business running one bot, that is a large recurring line item. • It is a lot of tool for a simple bot. A flow editor with screens, forks and regular-expression matching is powerful, but it is also a learning curve. There is no dedicated form builder (user input is collected into variables), the docs recommend working from a computer, and we could not find a native BotMother app on the App Store or Google Play. The builder interface is offered in Russian and English only.

None of this makes BotMother a bad product. It makes it a specific product for a specific buyer: someone with a multi-step flow, a budget of several hundred dollars a year for one bot, and time at a desktop.

BotMother has all of those in some form: forks, AI components that run on your own API key, eight platforms, payments through any Telegram-supported provider, and CRM or Google Sheets hand-offs through its API request component and connectors such as Zapier and Albato. If your bot depends on any of them, TeleMinute is the wrong choice, and we would rather say so here than after you switch.
